In addition to serving on the board of National Advisors Trust Company, Tom currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Franklin Bancorp, LLC, and Bank of Franklin County in Washington, Missouri. Tom was a co-founder of National Bank Holdings Corporation (NBHC). During his tenure there, Tom served as Chief Risk Officer, President and CEO of its subsidiary bank, Bank Midwest, and Chief of Integration and Enterprise Technology.  Prior to founding NBHC, Tom was Chief Risk Officer at Citizens Financial Group in addition to serving as Chairman, President and CEO of Citizens Bank New Hampshire. He also held several executive and leadership roles with Mercantile Bancorporation and US Bank. He began his career as a bank examiner with the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and the OCC.

Tom earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics cum laude from Benedictine College and completed post-graduate and graduate programs at the Prochnow Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.  In addition, he was selected for and completed the Royal Bank of Scotland Executive Leadership Program, developed by Harvard and Duke Universities. Tom has an extensive history of civic and community involvement and his achievements have been recognized with various awards throughout his career.
