Human Resources Manager

Amy joined NAT in 2021, bringing with her over two decades of diverse human resources experience – everything from employee relations and benefits administration to performance management coaching and recruitment. At both her previous life and her tenure here, she has garnered a well-earned reputation for finding solutions that meet the needs and concerns of both company and employee.

“It’s a balancing act, really. But I like taking that 360º view and putting in the time to find the most equitable solution to any human resources issue.”

In addition to the more standard roles of an HR Manager, Amy has been a vital part of strengthening the employee roster at NAT by developing and instituting a new performance management, goal setting and employee engagement program and has improved our onboarding and new-hire experiences.

In addition to a BSBA from the University of Missouri and MS Human Resources from the University of Maryland, Amy holds PHR and SHRM-CP certifications.

Amy’s personal life is as full as her professional life: She enjoys running and yoga, has held board positions at her church, is active in their foster care ministry, and enjoys spending time with her husband and children at their Kansas City home.
