As you’ve read about in previous communications, we’ve been doing a lot of listening lately. Listening to our customers about things we can do better, processes we can streamline and ways to strengthen our relationships with our most important partners – you.

We’ve been hard at work in taking what we’ve heard and putting it to action as well as ensuring a smooth transition to our new platform. As an important partner in this process, you’ll soon receive an invitation and details to be one of the first people to get a preview and experience its functionality.

Today, we want to update you on some of the great progress we’re making in strengthening our level of service and to make working with us even more beneficial.

Here are this week’s highlights:

Strengthening Your Relationship with Your Clients

In our new platform and service model, the goal is to keep you, the Investment Advisor, as the face of the relationship with the end client. That means we’ll take direction from you and ask that you’re always on the phone when we’re talking to them.

We have improved our shadow processing for those that have subaccounts at Schwab, TD, Fidelity, etc. We also improved our reconciliation process. Starting June 1, you’ll get more timely insights into the assets on these platforms without having to wait for them to be manually posted.

Improved Account Opening Process

We will work with you to gather all of the necessary information and from that point, you will now have one point of contact from account opening to funding. No more passing info between multiple associates. This improved process streamlines your experience by creating just ONE handoff of new account information. If we need to speak to the end client for information, we’ll be sure you’re on the call. You own the relationship, we own the account.

Key Project Milestones and Processing Dates to Remember

As we progress towards the launch of the new platform, we’ll be scheduling sessions to help you learn how to easily process transactions and generate reporting from it. Here are some key dates for client webinars, training, data validation, testing and conversion:

  • Education: What I Need to Know (WINK) Webinars: June 13th – August 31st
  • Training: Client training begins August 1st – September 9th
  • Opportunity for clients to validate converted data: August 15th- September 2nd
  • Non-financial Data Conversion: September 10th
  • Settlement of All Trades: September 28th
  • Asset Movement Freeze: September 29th – October 3rd

Two Data Conversions and Validations Completed

We’ve been working behind the scenes implementing and testing our data transfers and validations so that you and your teams won’t have to be responsible for any of it. We’ve successfully completed two data conversions and validations with more to come.

Business Integration Planning and Testing

For more than a year we’ve been working with portfolio accounting and trading platform providers like Envestnet, Tamarac, Orion, SS&C, and others to improve our integration with their software, coordinate testing, and develop plans for converting to our new platform. We will be implementing new and improved system interfaces that will contain enriched data and promote improved interoperability.
