Jennifer Matney Joins National Advisors Trust’s Executive Team as Chief Financial Officer

Kansas City, MO | February 25, 2022

Jennifer Matney has joined National Advisors Trust (NAT) as a Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and is tasked with overseeing the finance and accounting functions of the business.

As CFO, Matney will be responsible for daily accounting and finance functions, oversee the development, administration, and reporting for annual budgets/forecasts, capital investments, pro-forma models, financial performance reporting, and administer the timely preparation and submission of corporate tax filings, FFIEC call reports, Reg W allocations, and tax allocation agreements.

Jennifer’s 21-year professional career includes financial planning, budget and forecast analysis, and controller positions. She most recently spent the last seven years as Senior Vice President at UMB where she served as Director of Operational Risk Management and Director of Model Risk Management.

Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Finance from Missouri Western State University, a master’s degree in economics, and has all but her dissertation on a PhD in Economics and Public Administration, both from University of Missouri – Kansas City. When she isn’t working, Jennifer actively volunteers at Big Brothers Big Sisters, United Way, School of Economics, and serves on several nonprofit Boards of Directors. She is a resident of Kansas City and a passionate Kansas City Chiefs fan.
